Description
ButyrAldehyde-PEG-ButyrAldehyde is a linear product with a butyraldehyde group at each end of the PEG chain. Butyraldehyde PEG is an amine reactive PEG that can be used to modify biomolecules with an amine group.
Butyraldehyde can be used for bioconjugation and surface modification which can react with hydrazide or amine groups to form stable hydrazone or imine bonds.
Aldehyde PEG can also be used for n-terminus PEGylation in proteins or peptides.
