Description
ASA-PEG-ASA is a linear PEG product with an Amido-Succinic-Acid group at each end of the PEG chain. This product can be used as a modifier for the cross-linking of protein carriers and ligands . ASA-PEG-ASA highlights the use of esterification reactions between carboxyl and hydroxyl groups to form ester bonds, and similar substitution reactions with amino groups to form amides and other carboxyl properties linking PEG to small molecule drugs and peptides.
